Opened in 2000, Geneva Point’s Meeting House is one of the New Hampshire Lakes Region’s premiere venues for meetings, receptions, banquets, and special events. The Great Room seats up to 400 in theater style seating and comfortably hosts up to 200 for a meal. It also features a full sound system, raised stage area, LCD projector and wireless internet. There are up to five additional smaller meeting rooms and a wonderful screened porch with a fireplace. The Meeting House regularly hosts educational conferences, school banquets, proms, wedding receptions, church events, community meetings and other events.
Built in 1933, Geneva Point’s Chapel is a classic charm-filled venue for concerts, weddings, worship services, lectures, folk dancing, talent shows and many other events. Set in a pine grove, the two-story wooden structure features tall arching windows, a raised stage, balcony, sound system and a seating capacity of 250. The chapel is especially popular as a performance space for acoustic musicians.
The Barn is Geneva Point's oldest building dating back to the early 1800s and is a wonderful example of a Yankee Style Barn. The beautiful post and beam building is a large and friendly gathering space for up to 225. With its grand stone fireplace and hardwood floor, the Barn is very popular for folk dancing, music, worship, meetings, and rainy day and other activities.
The Scandia Room is a lakeside muti-purpose gathering space inside Gibbes House. It can easly accommodate as many as 30, with a larger capacity for theater style seating. As a year round facility, the Scandia Room is a meeting venue suitable for professional development conferences and retreats. The building has ten guest rooms, each with a private bath, heat, and a shared kitchen for overnight accommodations. The gas stove in the common area provides a cozy gathering space for conversations and hot cocoa after snowshoeing through our trails.
The Ossipee Room, attached to the Scandia Room, provides additional meeting space as well as a front porch to enjoy the lake and mountain views.
Shaw Cottage is another one of Geneva Point’s oldest structures. With its two meeting rooms, front porch, and convenient location next to the ice cream shop, Shaw Cottage is very popular for music classes, arts and crafts, small meetings and youth activities for up to 50 people.
This small meeting cabin is a perfect classroom, meeting, or practice space for up to 30. It is set in a beautiful pine grove (hence its name) and is conveniently located near the Chapel.
Sifter Cottage offers another small meeting cabin especially suited for children and youth activities. The cabin is located next to one of Geneva Point’s two playgrounds and the Barn. Siftar Cottage has a restroom and is fully handicap accessible.
The Inn is a classic 19th century lakefront inn with many of the original architectural details still present. Renovations over the decades have provided a wonderful mix of old and new for comfortable meeting and gathering spaces. Take a break and relax out on the grand wrap-around porch and enjoy the view of Lake Winnipesaukee, the Ossipee Mountains, and our seasonal gardens. The lobby and porch offer a wonderful venue for meetings as well as parties.
