GPC's History & Mission

These days, every not-for-profit organization is challenged to focus relentlessly on its mission while responding and adjusting to changing market conditions and a fluctuating economic climate. If you'd like to invest in the future of Geneva Point, here are a few ways.

VOLUNTEER  Every year individuals give their special skills and talents to the success of Geneva Point through volunteering in many ways.  Please request our Volunteer Brochure if you are interested.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP  Geneva Point Center is a New Hampshire non-profit corporation,  and a qualified organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.  The Center's Board of Directors recongize individuals who make annual membership contributions as corporate members for the calendar year in which they make such contributions.  Corporate members are entitled to elect new members to the Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting of the Corporation each fall.  We are grateful to our annual corporate members for their support and generosity.

FRIENDS OF WINNI   Providing safe, attractive and comfortable facilities is an important part of Geneva Point Center's ministry of hospitality.  With some 80 buildings on nearly 200 acres of property, ensuring that our facilities continue to support our ministry is a daunting challenge.  We are enormously grateful to those whose gifts to Friends of WINNI have supported ongoing facilities and site improvements. 

TRIBUTE GIFTS   Each year some individuals  and organizations choose to make gifts to Geneva Point Center in memory of friends or loved ones, or to pay tribute to the lifetime achievements and contributions of colleagues or role models.

SPECIAL GIFTS   During every year, Geneva Point Center receives contributions from individuals, churches, and foundations for general program support or for special program initiatives.  Such special gifts enable us to respond to human needs and to new opportunities within the bounds of our mission statement.

BEQUESTS and ENDOWMENTS GIFTS  Bequests and endowment gifts are a wonderfully generous way for those who have loved and benefited from their experiences at Geneva Point Center to ensure that future generations have the same opportunities.  We honor and recognize those who leave bequests or make contributions to our endowment fund during their lifetimes as members of THE LONE PINE SOCIETY.
